At the heart of ITALUS is our patrimonio: the next-generation custodians of Italy’s living heritage. They are the bridge between past and future, committed to reviving regional heritage, identity, cuisine, dialects, and intangible culture. They lead, make decisions, and inspire change — forming the majority of our Board of Directors.

Why does this matter?
Our ancestors left us skills, lessons, and legacies that paused over time. Today’s next generation is curious, passionate, and eager to preserve and share this heritage. It is our responsibility to equip them to bridge the generational gap and continue these legacies.

How is ITALUS changing this?
Through cultural education, storytelling, publishing, and creative collaborations, our patrimonio brings Southern Italy’s lesser-known heritage to a global audience. We connect scholars, travelers, creators, and investors with living traditions at risk of being overlooked. Partnering with local associations, institutions, artisans, and communities, we revitalize regional economies while driving sustainability for future generations.
